we went smaller with the last trailer
stayed with a good tow vehicle , an hd 2500 duramax.
i much prefer a more reasonable size trailer towed by a real
i have been a trailer boater since 1972
my first new car was a 3 /4 ton suburban with a 402 big block
our first trailer was a 1995 nomad 1661 model
my next trailer was a 1998 fleetwood 26 with slideout
i then bought a used beaver 36 foot motorhome diesel pusher
i factory ordered my current Komfort 21t with no slide
for us this is the best answer
when we camp we are outside mostly
we mostly cook on a coleman stove and a propane bbq.
we put up a 12 x12 ez-up quik-shade to cover our picnic table
we put the trailer awning out
we camp 70% without any hookups
we camp in forest service , national park service , blm campgrounds and also in the readily available dispersed camping in oregon .
9200# gvw towing 7200# is better than the other way around
