Early on in our marriage we tent camped all the time. Then I started becoming less enamored with no bathroom/shower, real bed, etc. For years we didn't camp. Our truck was a Toyota Tacoma so we were limited on the trailers we could get. Since getting a new truck wasn't even a consideration and we were upgrading from tent camping, we thought an 18' trailer would do the job. It did, but after about 2 years we were anxious to go bigger. We sold the Toyota, bought a Ram 2500 Diesel, then a year later bought a 27' Cougar. The new trailer is a big step up in size, but we figured we'd go big enough that we'd keep it for at least 10 years. We found we use it all the time, about 3 months combined each year, and winter camp as well. When camping in the winter we spend more time in the trailer and needed some elbow room.
