Still own the tent which took me to the top of Rainer......looked at RV when boys were 3-4 yrs old, finally got one 3 yrs later. Needed a truck to carry what ended up being 4 kids spouse and myself, needed a typical half ton at the time to carry family wt, much less hitch wt or tent wt! so went with a sw 8 lug rig. After that, most trucks were based on what I used the truck for at work. Which is way heavier loads, bigger trailers than the 24' 6500 lb TT weighed!
ALWAYS buy the tow rig based on total usead, payload first, then power the drivetrain to meet your needs, you will be happy with the rig.
