My son just bought a used 2010 Quicksilver 8.0 which is really basic. Can we upgrade the counter top top add the 2 burner stove and furnace below. There is no propane at this time, so we would have ...

Anything should be possible with money and skill. Personally I'd go the cheap, easy route and use a portable camp stove & portable heater. But then, I don't have the skill (and paying for installation could be pricey), so it really depends on you.
