I think you did the right thing to be very cautious. I wouldn't want my wife, or daughter there by herself with this woman's questionable behavior. On the other hand I have never worried about any person in a camp ground before. There have been strange individuals before, but I've always had the thought that their stuff is left outside too, and we all just look out for each other. Either way, it's sad you had to cut your trip short, we had to cut our last week long trip short because of the imminent arrival of Hurricane Harvey.
Our hearts go out to those who have lost so much in this terrible disaster.
