Thank you, Jim1521, for adding paragraphs. I am not usually so negligent but I was upset about my trip and just started writing and got carried away.
I would like to add one more incident that happened at the RV park. When I went to do laundry, there was a woman around forty years of age standing outside the office. She was extremely skinny. She was in a heated conversation with another person and was yelling "Do they think I would be living in a trailer if I had anywhere else to go?" I later saw this skinny woman getting into a beat up old pickup truck with the elderly woman that had knocked on my door.
Not all, but a lot of people this skinny are drug addicts. I wonder where all these people who lost their homes and apartments are being housed. Are they paying the local RV parks to take them in? I am sure that most of the people who lost everything in the storm are upstanding citizens but not all of them are. I really think it would be a good idea to avoid this area until things are under control.
I do think I should have received a partial refund from the RV park. The elderly woman was basically an employee of the park. Instead of pay, they receive free rent and utilities.
