Personal safety and well being are good things to guard, listening to your inner voice saves many a headache when one listens to it.

As to getting your $$ back?? Seems a partial refund would have been the nice and honorable thing to do, perhaps with all the damage they are really hurting and barly hanging on IE: your $$ were already spent ??

Anyhow hope the rest of your adventure was fun and that little bit while unnerving didn't ruin the whole thing :)
