I decided I needed a small gen also. Mainly to run the microwave or a small electric heater or charge the battery.
I don't really boondock much so I didn't need a 3000- 4000 watt model.
I didn't want the larger size and weight either.
The A/C didn't come into play because I have a 15K model and a 2200 watt gen wouldn't start it anyway.
I found this model on Sam's website a couple months back. They had it on sale for $400 with free shipping.
It has a lot of features for the money with a 30 amp plug and a RV adapter plug included.
It also has a carry handle, wheels and a retractable handle to pull it with if desired.
It's very quiet, light weight and covers all my bases.
