I have owned a Generac 4000XL for 4 or 5 years. Will run any single AC with no problem. Max surge 5kw.

You will have to find it used but for the $200 I paid well worth it.
It does eliminate the question of will it run your AC. Not as quiet as the Honda or Yamaha Gen sets.
