Potable Water coming out city water connection

After loosing a half tank of fresh water to a leaking check valve I took the the cheap valve out and just put in a hose connection with a manual valve. No more leakage when on the pump. Only drawback is if we lose park water I have to go out and close the valve before I start the pump - minor inconvenience.
