Part of the RV purchasing is priorities. Our goal was to tour the country after retirement. This involves multiple stops, over several weeks, driving city streets and country roads to find unique places and at times remaining hooked up for an overnight or short stay.
So we wanted, total access at all times (virtually no setup), a bed you could exit without crawling over your spouse, large bath, pantry, linen closet. These were our priorities for the type of RVing we do.
You can see that if your vacation style is parking at you favorite vacation spot for a week or so, your priorities might be different.
RVing is a big umbrella, from Yogi Bear with lots of kid things to wilderness boondocking. Your floor plan needs to match the things you intend to do.
Good luck
