I have a Husky. There is a rubber plug on the top that you just take out and put in the supplied jack handle. I've never used it but it doesn't look too complicated even for my simple mind. There is also something which I don't know how to describe on the side that you click over to disengage the motor before the manual jacking. I think I have a little tool for that too.
