Of course you can't let more air in without letting it out the other end. Or just a programmer by itself will not perform as well without the other mods. So Air Raid, Cat Back and tuner, all three or nothing.
Is it worth it? Only you can be the judge. If you go by 'seat of the pants" dyno and feel a good improvement then it is probably worth it to you. Will you ever recoup the cost with saved fuel? Nope.
That said, this is the next mod I plan to do to my truck. Just because I can. :B
Well.. It is obvious that we won't be getting there or anywhere any faster for the $$ investment for this gadget in the engine. I think for how often and what we use this rig for... it's best not to do it.
