Preferred pricing

Stop by local Dodge dealer about price. I showed them the control # and came back with only 5 grand off. What a joke. I would take off rebate which was 2500 so thats 7 grand off. The trk was sold anyway but i thought i could do better then that.

When ready to buy:C will go to Kernersville Dodge in NC. They carry about 300 1 tons in stock.
  • I just ordered a new RAM 3500 SRW this morning from Ken at Bob Schwartz RAM in Indiana. I am near Columbus, oh. I found about him via a diesel forum.

His approach was straight forward and pricing on the Ram was close to Kernersville and trade was much better. Overall deal was much better. I can't say enough good things about how easy he was to deal with.

    His email is indytruckchampion@gmail.com.

I had good luck with the Costco Auto Program. No haggle no hassle - some report doing better. It's at least going to be a decent price, potentially a great price. I paid 39K for a MSRP of 48K. It was a brand new model year also. I think the deals can be a lot better as the model year wears on and the dealer wants to unload vehicles.

    X2 on this !

I tried everything I could think of when I was ready to order my 2013 F350 - email to 'internet salesmen' at various local dealers, credit union program, buyer's broker, etc. As a last resort I used the Costco program and was surprised. That's where I got my best price.
  • I've never paid over invoice for any vehicle I've ever bought new. MSRP on my truck was $45K in 2007. I was able to get slightly below invoice minus any rebates. Dodge had large rebates at the time (Everyone did!). Paid $29K.

Now have 96,000 miles on it and doing great. Don't use it as DD and plan to keep it a long time. Can't afford a new truck at the high prices they're running now!
  • If you can't get a truck at or below invoice there's something wrong.

  • Check out Dennis Dillon's website before you buy. You may not want to travel all the way out to Idaho, but maybe you can use it as a bargaining chip. Their "sale price" beats anybody I was able to find, and you don't have to negotiate it - it's take it or leave it. Sticker prices have gone up since I bought last June, but I got a hair under 12k off MSRP on my well optioned Tradesman.
