Premium Fuel?

pure-gas.org show there are 132 station in Idaho selling ethanol free gas. That's what I'd be using. There's is certainly a benefit to using ethanol free because you will get better fuel mileage. By using 87 octane ethanol free you would probably spend less than buying the 92 octane to get away from the ethanol.
However, your truck should run fine on either E10 or pure gas. It's a modern enough vehicle not to notice, except for the worse mileage.

Octane is resistance to ignition. There's no benefit to using it in an engine that doesn't need it for high compression combustion chambers. Since it's harder to ignite, it can quiet detonation (pre-ignition) in engines that are prone to detonation.

My truck requires 92 or better octane. We have a station in town that sells pure premium for a very premium price. Interestingly, I've notice a severe drop in mileage when running that real premium. I've switched back to the 10% ethanol stuff.

Ethanol will lower your mileage. if you run pure gas (the 92 you say is pure gas) it will be better for your engine. it will run much more efficiently. my truck had a very hard time with the 87 and 10% ethanol. at times, depending on terrain and wind, it would barley hold 55mph and get 5mpg doing it. I started using 92,93 octane and power and mileage came back. if it is available I would use straight gas and save the corn for the campfire!

Some places have regular without ethanol. You will spend more with this too but some claim to get better fuel mileage.

If your truck does not need premium, the biggest issue is the unnecessary drain on your wallet.
