When I bought our 2015 Ram 1500 diesel with air suspension it was over 5k less than a comparable Ford Lariat vs our Laramie. Ours out the door was 46k. I figured with the mileage increase over 120k miles it was at a minimum a 10k decision in favor of the Eco diesel.
I was a Ford guy and our 08 f150 was a great truck. It seems the blue oval can command the numbers, good for them. I suspect time will tell however, if a mid level truck is hits 50k, then they might see some kind of resistance. For those of us who need it all, we just seem to pay the price for all the toys....
