My brother was looking to upgrade his 2003 truck back in 2013, had been shopping used until a dealer told him the new ones were only a $1000 more. He spec'd his truck, found one and then sent out an email to the local dealers with the specs and VIN asking them for a quote. The dealer that actually had the truck was $4000 higher than one of the others. He bought it at the one with lower price, they did the dealer transfer, done deal. The dealer he bought from used the higher price dealer as inventory according to salesman.
It was expensive though, just like others have mentioned.
