It's not just Fords that are getting expensive....EVERYTHING is getting way out of hand. I just saw a TV ad for a GMC Sierra c/c 4x4 with a starting price of over $56K before rebates and discounts.
When I got out of the car business in 2006, $40K bought you a pretty well decked out F350 which was expensive at that time. The same truck would now sticker well in the $60's. When I started, often people were telling me that they couldn't comprehend buying a vehicle that cost about 1/2 of what their house did. I really didn't understand it then. 10+ years removed from the business, a little older & wiser....now I get it.
