No, it is not. Here, for instance, diesel is still 35 cents a gallon more than gas.
However, some areas it is cheaper, and the reason is that there are a couple refineries that are shut down for repairs, and this is the time of year they make gasoline and not diesel/heating oil. So the gas supply is tight, but the diesel we're using was all made last winter and isn't affected by the current shutdowns.
