Prius towing a travel trailer? Yes.
Saw this at Costco in Washington state... It was an older single axle trailer. What do you think? Sorry I didn't get more photos. Was in a hurry.

I would say your view is simply opinion, not fact. I've read your rationale and looked at the photo...I'm not convinced you're right.
I would need to clearly see...which I can't with the car obscuring the Prius and trailer and possibly the hitch.
