- tomman58ExplorerComing out of El Paso Tx. last year we seen a truck pulling (not well) and other truck (small foreign) and a car and a trailer. We were in the hills. Oh did I mention the trucks were loaded to the nines with furniture and stuff, so was the car and the trailer.
This was about as scary thing as we have seen on our travels.
But you what we seen a smaller version later on. could not believe it, only in Tx. - dodge_guyExplorer II

Never did understand why some people call them Exploders? I had one and so did a buddy of mine. never once did it Explode. also never did see one spontaneously explode, still can`t figure that one out!cekkk wrote:
And IndyCamp, not so fast. That full color map is so bogus. You can't RV to Hiwauyee!
No you can`t RV there. you could put one on a boat and then RV once you get there. or you can rent a VW camper van while your there and see a few state parks! the latter is what we will do when we do get over there to visit! - ls1mikeExplorer II

That photo is Washington state, not sure what other states allow them. - ls1mikeExplorer II

:) :D
Edit: I feel pretty good as it seems there is a bunch of win in this thread for me. :B:S;)
What?!? Please refresh my memory. When did I knock the Explorer? And you quoted ME praising the Scamp?
Or am I confusing me with someone else...
Time for me to eat a little. Sorry. It was Road ruler who knocked the Explorer. I quoted him so I could praise the Scamp. - Ski_Pro_3Explorer

You got me. We actually flew there and stayed in hotels. I have seen plenty of camping on the islands (though not much RV'ing), however.
I HAVE actually camped (either in an RV or a tent) in the other 48 states in the map. I actually hit the lower 48 states by the time I was 18. I'm an only child and my parents loved to travel and camp. I'm now passing that down to my own child! My wife and I have been to 22 (repeats for me) in just the nine years we've been married.
I'm sure many of you would find a lot of cons about living in Indiana, but one of the BIG pros is, the cost of living is cheap as hell and it is within a day's drive of much of this country! - ls1mikeExplorer II

I bow to your superior grey cells, enrichened by days lounging on the deck of your sardine can, feasting on steak and smuggled wine, while we grunts fought the bugs for our canned calories in wet socks.
Okay, the truth. A JAG section State side.
That was simply...Awesome. I am still laughing...:):B - cekkkExplorer
