We have a 2nd door in the bedroom also. We have the door plus a window on each side (one is a safety exit and we rarely open it for ventilation). When we ordered our TT new, we got a Maxxair fan installed in the bedroom and one in the bathroom.
What I don't like about the bedroom door is all the light that it lets in early in the morning - need to install some type of blinds on it. Leaving that door open at night would sure wake a person up earlier in the am!
We crack at least the bedroom window open and run the either the bedroom or bathroom fan on low at night. Sometimes we'll open a window or two at the rear for more air flow in the kitchen/living area. What works better is to run just the bathroom fan instead so it's quieter and also so it doesn't remove as much heat in cold weather (we have a permanent recessed electric heater in the bedroom). If it's really hot at night, we can run both fans and at a higher speed as needed.
If you have the standard noisy small bathroom fan, it is possible to upgrade. Speaking of keeping the door open at night, no way would my DW allow that because she has a "thing" about personal safety and locks both doors at night. Running a fan continuous at night solves the ventilation aspect of that.
