Great, thanks all! About the tires, I gave them a pretty good look, 100% tread, no cracks or signs of dry rot. The camper is in the shade all day so perhaps that helped? Midnightsadie said I have to buy news ones no matter what, anyone else feel the same? I actually found the exact tire on tirerack for $60 so with shipping, mounting etc. I'm looking at $300+ out of the gate :R
