Problem with signal lights on tow vehicle

I was recently towing my 2012 Jeep GC and the connector cable disconnected at the RV and drug the ground resulting in a destroyed connector. I purchased a 7-pin to 6-pin Blue Ox cable and connected it. Everything works on the tow vehicle except the left signal/brake light. These work when I activate them in the Jeep so the bulbs are good. Does anyone have any idea what I might check?

    Not sure if you have a separate fuse for each light. If you do, it's possible the fuse blew when the plug was dragging on the ground. It may have shorted out or grounded.

    There are no extra bulbs installed for towing, but I did find the problem. There was some corrosion on the pin at the jeep plug. I used a piece of Emory cloth to clean the pin and everything is working

    A seperate bulb is installed in the taillight housing for towing. The taillight will have to be removed to check the bulb just as you would to replace the original bulb.
