Well sorry to inform you dog that it was perfectly safe and worked well for me the few times I had to do this but you of course ignored the fact I said to keep the trailer and truck perfectly level and straight with each other and on level ground with wheels fully choked. No damage to anything. I have read on several RV forums that many others have done this when everything else failed and have been told to do this at an RV dealer.
