I would think the battery would be better disconnected while idle so removal of it should not be problem...is that smart thinking? Yes
Is there a problem in removing the propane tanks and taping up the connectors to keep bugs / trash out during an idle period?
No Problem
Also was thinking of covering the tires that will be exposed to sunlight daily ( one side ) with plastic or plastic bags. Is that ok or do I need the wheel / tire covers sold commercially at CW etc?
Most any cover is better than nothing.
Let tires sit on dirt or plywood blocks I use for leveling or something
else? Plywood is fine.
