Prodigy brake controller

I have a Prodigy 120065-084 Rev.a Tekonsha brake controller which worked great on my r-pod. We bought a new TT and it worked well with our Hyundai.I upgraded our tow vehicle to a 2007 Chevy Avalanche (which I think is possessed) and now it won't sink.
Any thoughts?
