My other thread seeking info on the existence of a commercially available built in inverter generator for a truck camper confirmed that they don't exist. So here goes, I'm pulling the trigger on a DI...

My take is he plans to take it off the generator assembly and relocate to an area easier to fuel and also reduce the height. He would have to take into consideration of fuel delivery, gravity or fuel pump. Battery could be replaced by cables to the existing RV battery.
Nice ambitious project. Hope that it works out for him. and safety, heat and exhaust.
