My question is would the smaller profile and weight of the Prolite justify the extra $$ when you factor in fuel savings and overall ease of use?
What fuel savings? Don't kid yourself, any so-called "fuel savings" between these two trailers will be so insignificant as to be, well - insignificant. As for "overall ease of use" why would the Prolite be any easier to deal with than any other travel trailer? :h. Obviously you'll ultimately buy what you think best for your situation but I sure wouldn't base the decsion on these two presumed factors which IMO should have no bearing at all.
