Perhaps you should go to a propane dealer for the needed replacements. You could as them to test the replacements so that you only got through the process once! I had the same problem with a new out of the box hose that came with a new Broil King BBQ. They quickly replaced but I just went to a propane dealer and got an upgraded (green) replacement and had it tested. No further problems.
