The horizontal tanks may be exempt from needing OPD`s if they are the correct year, but they may need to be re-certified to fill
The horizontal non OPD tanks in my 97 lance , I was able to replace the O-rings in the valves and get them re-cert
I plan on replacing them with new OPD tanks and using these as spares ,but the horizontal tanks are very expensive , about 130.00- 150.00 each
Opd valves wont fit into the non OPD tanks as the valves need to be off center to allow the swing arm for the OPD device to fit in the tank
Not really something to mess around with unless your comfortable with it
