Propane tanks

Is there a difference in propane tank dimensions for the 6 gallon tanks? I noticed the Taishan tanks are slightly shorter and fatter, which came with the trailer. It says they are made in China/Canada. I like the ones that I get at Walmart because there is more room for the equalizer on the frame.

    That because 15# are not standard...off brand.....foreign

The sizes/dimensions I posted are standard USA propane cylinders.

    Standard propane 'cylinders':

    20# (4.7 gal) 18"/H 12.5"/Dia
    30# (7.1 gal) 24"/H 12.5"/Dia
    40# (9.4 gal) 28"/H 12.5"/Dia

Never heard of 6 gallon cylinders and what is 'the equalizer'???

Equalizer hitch where it attaches to the TT frame near the propane tanks. Just assuming he meant that.
