I fill my propane tanks about once a year, 2-25 lbs. I use the heater during the winter time if I am out working inside, etc. We use a ceramic heater most of the time if we are camping and it is cool. You will have to find out after a period of use. Use the campground stuff before yours, you are paying for it anyway.
