Propane use
My wife and I are looking to get a TT to live in. Most of the TT's we are looking at have 2 30 lb propane tanks. How often do you have to have them filled. We plan on using the campgrounds showers and washers.

- I guess truly it will just be a learning experience.
- Depends on the ambient temps. Furnace in weather below 40° will run you dry in a couple weeks.
- Depends on the weather. Two 30 lb tanks ought to last years if you only use the range; at least a year if you use the range and sometimes the refer when traveling; 6 months or so if you also sometimes use the water heater on propane; maybe as long as a month if you run the furnace in the ice and snow of a Montana winter. And that, of course, depends on how big the TT is.
- When I was in mine solo; washing dishes with hot water, showers (all 6gal of hot water), and cooking, I could go what I remember as at least 2.5-3wks per tank. I think it was a bit more than that sometimes.
