Taylor the pressure to your load and conditions. Your back, suspension and tires will thank you for it.
For example in the summer I run about 60/45psi f/r empty and air the rears up to 80 with the camper.
Winter time I drop it to about 50/40 or 35 empty for better traction.
What's really messed up is the new Ford work truck I got, the tpms wouldn't let you drop the rear pressure below 75 psi before triggering the idiot light. The truck gets run empty mos of the time and those pressures are insane for empty driving. Got a dealer that knew what they were doing to lower the tpms threshold to 30psi around the horn so I can tailor the pressure to the conditions at hand.
