The separate TV is the biggest pro, so you can go explore or just go pick up something you need. Low maintenance of TT is a big plus as well.
The cons are that it is more time consuming to set up camp and break camp in a TT than a Class A. The Class A guys just back in, press the leveler button, and they are camping. I have to back in (which is harder to do with a trailer), unhitch, put out the stabilizers, and so forth. When Class A guys leave, they seem to just raise the jacks, pull in the slides, and go, while I am doing all this manual labor.
Towing a TT is more of an ordeal as far as driving. You have a big ole thing hanging on back there and have to monitor it fairly closely. Class As just cruise along.
One other thing is storage. It seems that Class A owners have more space for stuff and less concern about the weight of said stuff. TT people usually have to worry about adding weight and pushing the towing weight limit envelope in some way or another.
