Pros:
-single level living - no stairs up to bedroom.
-ability to use truck at home to haul stuff like lumber, drywall, or whatever
-can load lots of things in truck bed for camping and canopy will keep things dry and safe
-less affected by strong winds compared to a FW
-decent fuel mileage compared to other RVs
-more repairs *can* be done by owners, esp. compared to MHs
-not as tall and will clear overpasses with low clearance compared to other RVs
-parts readily available almost everywhere
-potential for costly repairs less, esp. compared to MHs
-lower overall complexity compared to other RVs
-many can be towed by SUVs and 1/2 ton TVs, compared to FWs which in most cases need a 3/4T and up truck
Cons:
-trailer "bounce" (aka movement, shimmy, etc.) when set up at a CG
-frames more susceptible to problems, esp. on ultra-lites
-many cases of poor quality control at the plants or from their suppliers
-importance of correctly setting up a WDH and potential accident risk if not
-potential for sway and need for sway control
