Only real experience I have with these two brands is I have 2 2015 F350's running out of my shop. Both have over 200K miles with no problems at all. I know of 3 Chevys running that have had no issues either but don't have that kind of mileage yet.
Pick the one that fits your butt the best and go for it.

Just so you'll know, a class 8 truck is not built and advertised as an off road vehicle. Also if you look at how a class 8 truck is put together, they are designed to twist because they don't have the suspension flexibility of a pick-up and their body panels are designed to accommodate the flex of the frame. And you don't think I know that after running a shop for Saunders Leasing for several years. I guess the trucks we leased out to construction company's never took them off the highways and Im sure logging trucks never saw anything but highway. Did I mention I had a trucking Co. in the early eightys? Just so you know.
