It's not a rumor, it's presently in negotiations as FCA doesn't have a sustainable future due to long term debt etc and China is the only one so far to even enter into actual negotiations with FCA. FCA's days are numbered either way! It's not a major share holder proposal but a total buyout/take over and Cummins engines will not be included after take over as China will supply their own diesel engines made in China as they can produce the engines at a fraction of the cost of buying from Cummins. It's one of the major areas of the negotiations along with a total vehicle re-alignment and production locations/plants. Stay tuned!
