GM is the 100% SOLE owner of Duramax, ALL patents, designs, and ALL rights to manufacture and control ALL aspects of the Duramax engines. GM has already made and sold over 2 million 6.6 Duramax and installed engines in vehicles. GM makes the engines themselves rather than simply buying them from another manufacturing vendor like another truck manufacturer does which are then exported to Mexico, installed in the Mexican built vehicle, and then imported back into the USA and Canada to sell.

Cummins12V98, perhaps you should do your research before you post stuff you know nothing about! Most people seem to know so much more about Duramax diesel engines and GM than you seem to based on your posts!
