Protecting heating ducts in cabinets

My heating ducts run through my cabinets and I am afraid they will get crushed if I have things in the cabinet while I drive. The ducts are the dryer hose looking ducts, I would guess 3 inches in diameter. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep the ducts from getting crushed?

    ...better use Adzel...:W just kidding...
  • Relocate the duct to the top of the cabinet.Mine are the same material, and I removed ones that were in the way and terminated the upstream end with a grill. You want the heat duct along the floor for best results.
