Fluid film has it's place, however it is not a good value for undercarriage protection. Doesn't last long with rain/snow pelting it.
It's great for protecting from moisture from indirect sources (humidity/condensation) though.
Agree though, it won't hurt anything.
OP didn't say if they applied the snake oils or not...would be cool to hear the epilogue though!
