This is what you should do to TRAILER tires. ST tires on most trailers require max inflation because load limits are close to the actual weight of the trailer and if these tires are under inflated friction will cause heat build up which damages them.
TV tires are another animal. You certainly can inflate to the max but you won't be helping things. You will wear out the tire sooner and your ride is likely to become more harsh. Do what people have suggested. Look up the load vs inflation data for your tire. Check the weight of your truck, the weight of the tongue (estimate if you have to) and estimate the weight of the stuff you will be taking with you. This will give you a good idea. Now check the load guide and you probably will be surprised.
