GMC does still make a work truck just no single cabs that I have seen yet just all double cabs. A dealer 1 mile from my house sells both the GMC and Chevy trucks and there is a lot of at least 50 GMC and 50 Chevy work trucks together all stripped down and white.
GMC has always been the better looking truck in my eyes but I just think if GM would mold the Chevy and GMC together they could devote there time to make the truck even better and be more competitive with Ford who has been beating them out for years now. I have had Fords for the last 15 years as GM left a hugely bad taste in my mouth back in 96 with a new vehicle I purchased from them but I do look at the big 3 when purchasing new as I'm not completely brand loyal. I buy the best truck at the best price at the time I am shopping.
That tailgate GMC has I can't imagine how many are going to need a body shop when it's lowered and someone left the hitch shank in the receiver...
