Congrats! What trim level did you get?
I am semi looking as well, seems you can get a "tradesman" well equipped and comparable to a LT Silverado. All for a pretty decent price.
Thanks!
Jeremiah
I went with the Tradesman but what I leaned is they're not all the same. One dealer only ordered them as true WT's (vinyl seats, floor). This place gets them fairly equipped. So I still got the basics plus some extras goodies like LineX, steps, 5er prep etc.
I did a TON of internet shopping and had to really study the stickers real good.
Funny side note about that. After looking at dozens I saw the Cummins option at two or three different prices. Only a couple hundred off give or take but still makes you :h
There was a mid year price bump. Mine was invoiced prior to the bump but there were both on the lot.
Congrats on the truck. I have a well optioned Tradesman as well and it's a great option. It has what I need in terms of comforts and functional options but at a good price point. I paid about $39k for mine before tax (sticker was about $51k).
There's no substitute for that straight six - good job not settling!
That's roughly the exact deal I got. Other than the snow plow/cold weather option, mine has everything you can get on a Tradesman. I might have paid a little extra for the add-ons but it's nice already having them versus shopping around for all of it aftermarket, small things like the front windows are tinted to match the rears etc.
I did a couple test tows today resetting my hitch. I've been on here since 2003 listening to everyone talk about how awesome diesels are. Well, they're all right! I was all teeth going down the interstate today, looked like this :B
Not just the engine though, the truck itself is 1000 times better at handling the camper. Going to a LB helps with that I'm sure.
It's crazy how much power than thing has. My stressful trips are GONE !!!!
