Pulling a 7500# Travel Trailer

Is the 7500 the dry weight? If so, forget it with that truck. A trailer that weighs 7500# loaded with gear and ready to camp is okay but not ideal. You're really getting up to 3/4 ton territory. I had a 5.4 F150 and that engine is a bit of a dog. That rear end isn't ideal for towing either. So, don't plan on winning any races. 9600# is a respectable tow number for a 1/2 ton so I'd guess you have a tow package of some sort (but with that rear end maybe not?).
