pulling without WD hitch

A friend just bought a 26' 6700# pull behind. His truck is to small to tow so I am towing it with my 08 F-350 SW.

Question is this, we are towing it about 75 miles to there land where it will sit permanently. Can I tow without a WD hitch?

No, you probably don't need it. I tow a 7500 lb TT with a 2004 Ram Cummins. I have a WDH, but have found that the truck is so heavy that it isn't necessary. However, I do put the sway control on.

Ball size should be ok??? But I would double check to make sure.

You have a f-350! Of course... You would never need a wdh..

Should be no problem, just do not be a speed demon towing it.
