Puma 32DBKS

I am looking at a 2014 Palomino Puma 32DBKS and think I might have found the perfect trailer.

Does anyone have experience with PUMA? I know they are a FR company but am curous if peopple have had good/bad luck with them. The other one we are looking at it a Solaire 307QBDS. Very much favoring the Puma based on interior but the Solaire is compelling as well. Very very torn.

Thanks in advance!
  • I have a 24 ft. 2013 Puma. So far so good. Everything inside is very light wt, which means plastic toilet (yuk) and thin veneer on cabinets (yuk).

    Otherwise I like it.
  • Palomino which has the Puma and it's upscale sister the Sabre were bought by FR a few years ago. However, FR is not bringing them into the fold like they do with most of their acquisitions. They are letting it run as a stand alone company, that has the financial muscle and backing of FR.
Palomino has vastly different floorplans than the rest of FR.
I like them a lot. They do tend to be heavy, like quite a few of the better manufacturers units tend to be.
  • We bought a 32dbks in August of last year. We love it; its great for our family of 6, although our oldest daughter (who turned 16 in November) thinks she has better things to do.

The only issue I've had with it, is that the furnace duct work came loose between the back bedroom and the galley. No/minimal hot air coming from the floor vents. Camping World fixed it up with a quick turn around.
