That is not always the case. In my experience the diesel pumps in the normal car area have small pumps (may have encountered a couple that had larger nozzles). The truck lanes almost always have large nozzles. Some places have several pumps for RVs. I have encountered both large and small nozzles.
I never trust just the nozzle color. I always look at the label on the pump regardless of the pump nozzle color.
