I made the mistake once many yrs ago and put a few gallons of gas in the tank. What tipped me off was the price on the pump wasn't right. So, there is the reason diesel and gas aren't the same price:S Anyway, 3-4 gallons of gas in a 45 gal. tank did nothing but lower my MPGs and that was while towing.
